The Department of Organic Chemistry is based at two collaborating faculties of Palacky University. Traditionally, it is a part of the Faculty of Science, however, in 2010, a deep scientific and pedagogical collaboration was founded with the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry – Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine which is within the area of the Faculty Hospital in Olomouc.
